No June 6 Rapture

This Just In:

Steve Fletcher has been proven to be a fraud as he joins the ranks of those with failed rapture predictions. Still no word from the “prophet” himself.

That is all!

June 6 Raputre Update

It’s just after 4 pm PST in Seattle, and this is your rapture update.

It is just after midnight on June 7th in Spain, France, and the United Kingdom. Guess what, no sign of the rapture. No comment yet from the failed prophet himself, Steve Fletcher. I’ll do one more update tomorrow morning, but I’m calling this one busted. Guess his “Bible lock” isn’t as accurate as he thought…

June 6 Rapture?

Somehow I missed this…must be slacking off a bit. Anyways, Steve Fletcher (never heard of him) has predicted the rapture will happen on June 6, 2013. Since I am writing this at around 9:30 pm PST on June 5, that means that it is June 6 somewhere in the world. Any signs of an impending rapture?

And for your listening displeasure, I present to you, an interview with Steve Fletcher!

#RaptureFail: Harold Camping’s At It Again!

Harold Camping just can’t stay out of the spotlight despite being made as a false profit and a scam.

In his first address on his Open Forum radio show since May 21 passed without any of his predictions about worldwide quakes and the Rapture coming true, radio evangelist Harold Camping said he was “truly wondering what was going on” when Saturday came and went without any extraordinary events.

“I went through all the promises God had made…everything was fitting perfectly,” he said, remarking that he thought “what in the world happened?”

What happened?  You’ve been found out to be a fraud.  You attempted to find something in Scripture that Scripture says isn’t there.  Give it up already.

Camping quotes a listener who had written him a letter at an unspecified time. The listener wrote he believes that “the great earthquake and the universe melting in fervent heat will all happen on the last day, Oct. 21, 2011.”

The preacher says that Family Radio will investigate that prediction, but admits “we have been saying it was going to happen on May 21” and that “the great earthquake didn’t happen on May 21 because no one would be able to survive it for a few days or let alone five months to suffer God’s wrath.”

Yeah, sure it will.  How many times must you be wrong before you give it up?

Camping says there will be no more billboards or street preaching, but the world is still ending Oct. 21.

Why not, are we unworthy to be saved with you and your cult?  Whatever.

Anyways, there’s a hockey game on and that’s more important that listening to what this fraud has to say.

#RaptureFail: Harold Camping to Respond Tonight

The man who is the center of this latest round of rapture craze, is going to speak about his failed rapture prediction.

The Christian radio host who predicted the world would end over the weekend said Monday he’s ready to talk about why the apocalypse didn’t arrive.

Ooh, this should be good.  Makes me want to deal with teh crazy and tune in…ok, maybe not.

Gunther Von Harringa, who heads a religious organization that produces content for Camping’s media enterprise, said he was “very surprised” the Rapture did not happen as predicted, but said he and other believers were in good spirits.

“We’re still searching the Scriptures to understand why it did not happen,” said Von Harringa, president of Bible Ministries International, which he operates from his home in Delaware, Ohio. “It’s just a matter of OK, Lord, where do we go from here?”

You can search Scripture all you want.  You’re not going to find an answer as to why the rapture didn’t happen, you’re not going to find any more clues as to the date of the rapture.  Give it up, it’s a giant scam.  You’ve been caught with your hand in the proverbial cookie jar.

Family Radio’s special projects coordinator, Michael Garcia said he believed the delay was God’s way of separating true believers from those willing to doubt what he said were clear biblical warnings.

“Maybe this had to happen for there to be a separation between those who have faith and those who don’t,” he said. “It’s highly possible that our Lord is delaying his coming.”

Harold Camping’s Response to Failed Rapture Prediction

“It has been a really tough weekend,” Camping, 89, said in front of his Alameda, Calif., home to The San Francisco Chronicle Sunday afternoon.

“I’m looking for answers,” he said, admitting that he was “flabbergasted.”

There’s no reason to be flabbergasted.  As one who studies the Bible, perhaps Camping should look at Matthew 24:36:

But about that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

No one knows but the Father.  Let me repeat that so it sinks in; NO ONE KNOWS BUT THE FATHER! There is no “code” hidden in the Bible.  Get over yourself.  If Christ himself doesn’t know, what makes you think you do?

He said he had nothing else to say and that he would be back to work on Monday, when he will have more to say about the failed end of the world prediction.

My suggestion, study Matthew 24:36.  It might illuminate the reason for your failed rapture prophecy.

Harold Camping Resurfaces After Failed Rapture

My Final Thoughts On The #Rapture Craze

It’s a little after 12:00pm on the West Coast as I write this.  Several time zones have seen the 6pm rapture deadline come and go with nothing happening.  Harold Camping is quiet concerning the lack of the rapture.  Tom Evans of Family Radio has set the final deadline for midnight Jerusalem time, but admits the rapture might be a bust.  Really, you think?  Thank you Captain Obvious.

Needless to say, all this does not surprise me one bit.  No one can predict the rapture.  Christ himself admitted he doesn’t know when the rapture will happen…only the Father knows.  Camping is full of crap.  Camping is nothing by a false prophet.  He’s been exposed as a fake and I hope his cultist followers stop drinking the Kool-Aid and leave teh crazy.
