I recently picked up John Piper’s The Future of Justification: A Response to N.T. Wright and was planning on reading it before I read N.T. Wright’s Justification. However, it light of Piper’s recent comments I think I will return his book. I don’t know if I want to read the work of someone who thinks that natural disasters are God’s punishment for sin. Maybe I’m being petty. Maybe I’ll still read it.
Edit: As of 10:09 pm on August 20th, I have decided not to read John Piper’s book.
